Numerical Analysis, Computational Solution of PDE's, Software for Technical Computing.
My current research effort is focused on the construction of fast numerical methods for simulating thin film semi-conductor growth. This activity principally involves creating new algorithms for solving the partial differential equations used to describe the growth of thin film semi-conductors. I've also been investigating new software and hardware techniques that will enable better access to simulations used by researchers working on problems related to control of semiconductor growth.
